Fayetteville Girls Stay Unbeaten in District Play

The Fayetteville girls basketball team beat Smithville last Tuesday 42-20 and then followed that up with a 60-23 victory over Dime Box Friday in a district game.

The Lady Lions are now 9-12 overall but 3-0 in district.

In that victory over Smithville Shea Sladek and Scotti Beseda each scored 11 points for the Lady Lions. Cambree Denham scored 10, Paige Jurecka scored five, Devynn Moeckel three and Lainey Gromaski two.
