Fayette Savings Bank (FSB) proudly presented a $2,300 check to the Schulenburg ISD from its School Spirit Debit Card Program. FSB customers who have the Shorthorn debit card, contribute toward the program indirectly.

Every time a purchase is made with the card, a percentage of each swipe goes to Schulenburg ISD. Donations are being made to all schools for which FSB has school debit cards - Schulenburg, Flatonia and Weimar ISDs as well as St. Rose School in Schulenburg, Sacred Heart School in La Grange, and St. Michael School in Weimar.

“This has been a tremendously successful program and a wonderful way for a customer to show their school pride every time they take their card out to make a purchase and help raise funds for the respective school as well,” said Mike Olle, FSB VP-Business Development.

Anyone interested in obtaining a school debit card can stop in at any Fayette Savings Bank location - La Grange, 111 East Travis; Flatonia, 204 North La Grange; Schulenburg, 87 North Kessler Ave.; or Weimar, 709 South Eagle.
