Fayette Public Library To Lend Wi-Fi Hotspots
The Fayette Public Library has purchased mobile hotspots to lend to card holders across the community who need internet access. Hotspot internet service is provided by Mobile Beacon and the Sprint network with unlimited data at 4 GE LTE speeds. Up to 15 devices may be connected to the hotspot at once. Hotspots will be available for patrons to take home and access the internet on their computer, phone, tablet, or other device.
The hotspots can be checked out just like any other library item for a 14 day period. The library will lend hotspots to resident card holders ages eighteen and older with library cards in good standing. Hotspots are available on a first come, first served basis. Holds may be placed on the hotpots. The hotspots must be picked up and returned to the library’s front desk.
The library is now open Tuesday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Wednesday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Sunday 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. The library is closed on Mondays.
