Veterans Day is Thursday, November 11, 2021 and amidst the pandemic, there are fewer than normal local events to honor the veterans, but there are still ways to show your appreciation locally.

Here are some of the planned events:

LGISD Virtual Program

• La Grange ISD has prepared a very special Veterans Day performance to show our veterans just how much they mean to us and to say thank you for everything they do and have done for our country. This year’s program will once again be virtual in order to take into consideration the safety of all. La Grange ISD’s Veterans Day performance will be available for viewing beginning at 7:30 am on Thursday, November 11th at https://youtu.be/c7jlbM9Ixps or you can access the link under live feed on the www. lgisd.net homepage.

Veterans Day Event in Fayetteville

• Celebrate Veterans on Thursday, Nov. 11 in honor of all who served. All Veterans are invited to meet at the town square at 8 a.m. Veterans will go from the town square to the school for the parade.

Veterans Day Posters in Round Top

• The Round Top-Carmine ISD students will have Veteran’s Day posters displayed on the grounds of the Round Top Courthouse on Thursday, Nov. 11. This event is sponsored by the community classroom committee of Smith-McMillan Daughters of the American Revolution. This is open to the public and we would love to have everyone come.
