Fayette County Grand Jury Hands Down Indictments
The Fayette County Grand Jury handed down 18 indictments on Oct. 21 for crimes allegedly committed in Fayette County.
An indictment is not an indication of guilt. The grand jury issues an indictment when they find enough evidence to formally accuse someone of a crime. All defendants listed below are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
Quinton Lovings, 34 of Austin, was indicted for money laundering in an amount greater than or equal to $2,500 but less than $30,000, allegedly committed on July 10, 2021.
Naim Bilal Rashid, 34 of Lockhart, was indicted for money laundering in an amount greater than or equal to $2,500 but less than $30,000, allegedly committed on July 10, 2021.
Jesus Manuel Gomez, 56 of Schulenburg, was indicted for evading arrest or detention with a vehicle or watercraft, allegedly committed on July 5, 2021.
Denzale Jydon Myles, 28 of La Grange, was indicted for murder, allegedly committed on Sept. 4, 2021. Myles was indicted on an additional charge of theft of a firearm, also allegedly committed on Sept. 4, 2021.
Daniel James Petrino, 20 of West Point, was indicted for forgery of a government instrument, money or security, allegedly committed on Aug. 13, 2021.
Tracie Diane Rittman, 48 of Smithville, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, penalty grade 1, less than one gram, allegedly committed on May 17, 2020.
Reverence Roshun Johnson, 36 of La Grange, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, penalty grade 2, less than one gram, allegedly committed on Feb. 4, 2020.
Thomas Herbert King, 77 of Katy, was indicted for deadly conduct – discharge of a firearm, allegedly committed on Sept. 1, 2021.
Todd Arnim Keilers, 25 of Smithville, was indicted for insurance fraud in an amount greater than $30,000 but less than $150,000, allegedly committed on Feb. 22, 2021.
Steven Paul Marshall, 50 of La Grange, was indicted for insurance fraud in an amount greater than $30,000 but less than $150,000, allegedly committed on Feb. 22, 2021.
Robert Milton Upchurch III, 36 of La Grange, was indicted for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, allegedly committed on Aug. 22, 2021.
Shamika Shauntae Alexander, 41 of La Grange, was indicted for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, allegedly committed on Aug. 19, 2021.
Mitchell Wayne Williams, 60 of La Grange, was indicted for obstruction or retaliation, allegedly committed on Sept. 1, 2021.
Carvian Marquette Utley, 23 of Eagle Lake, was indicted for sexual assault of a child, allegedly committed on Sept. 5, 2021.
David Andrew Franco-Garcia, 34 of San Antonio, was indicted for theft of a firearm, allegedly committed on July 14, 2021.
Juan Daniel Martinez, 20 of Waelder, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, penalty grade 1, less than one gram, allegedly committed on Nov. 27, 2019.
Raul Rudy Vela, 28 of Eagle Pass, was indicted for sexual assault, allegedly committed on Aug. 6, 2020.
The Fayette County Grand Jury handed down another 17 indictments on Nov. 18.
Billy Joel Polasek, 38 of La Grange, was indicted for capital murder of a person under 10 years of age, allegedly committed on July 4, 2016.
Ricardo Villalobos-Castro, 21 of Houston, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, penalty grade 2, less than one gram, allegedly committed on Jan. 20, 2020.
Salvador Noyola, 52 of Mission, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, penalty grade 1, greater than 400 grams, allegedly committed on May 7, 2021.
Heather Marie Hand, 35 of Moulton, was indicted for forgery of a financial instrument, allegedly committed on Sept. 25, 2021.
Richard Allen Hanson, 45 of Waelder, was indicted for forgery of a financial instrument, allegedly committed on Sept. 25, 2021.
Jessica Marie Bower, 31 of Houston, was indicted for evading arrest or detention with a vehicle or watercraft, allegedly committed on Aug. 28, 2021.
Michael Raymond Shrader, 59 of Fayetteville, was indicted for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, allegedly committed on Sept. 24, 2021.
Berenice Perez-Contreras, 25 of Houston, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, penalty grade 1, less than one gram, allegedly committed on Aug. 21, 2021.
Humberto Yguerabide, 63 of Laredo, was indicted for money laundering in an amount greater than or equal to $30,000 but less than $150,000, allegedly committed on Aug. 17, 2021.
Allen Michael Anderson, 27 of Katy, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, penalty grade 2, greater than or equal to four grams but less than 400 grams, allegedly committed on Feb. 23, 2020.
Timothy Edward Dobbins Jr., 35 of La Grange, was indicted for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon in a weapons free zone, allegedly committed on Dec. 1, 2020.
Malik Reyna-McLemore, 26 of Houston, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, penalty grade 2, greater than or equal to one gram but less than four grams, allegedly committed on May 2, 2020.
Riva Laura Daniel, 26 of Eagle Pass, was indicted for money laundering in an amount greater than or equal to $2,500 but less than $30,000, allegedly committed on Feb. 9, 2021. Daniel was indicted on an additional charge of possession of a controlled substance, penalty grade 2, greater than or equal to 400 grams, also allegedly committed on Feb. 9, 2021.
Benjamin Stuart Sustr, 39 of Schulenburg, was indicted for driving while intoxicated third or more, allegedly committed on April 18, 2021.
Christopher Gonzalez Ratliff, 36 of Austin, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, penalty grade 1, less than one gram, allegedly committed on April 25, 2021.
Mitchell Wayne Williams, 60 of La Grange, was indicted for harassment of a public servant, allegedly committed on Sept. 1, 2021.
