This month the Fayette County Country Music Club Opry is proud to host a gospel show with D’Vine Testament, Mary LouAnderle, and Wayne Beseda on Monday, Oct. 20 at the La Grange Knights of Columbus hall. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the show begins at 7 p.m. Admission is $8.
D’vine Testament is completing their 15th year performing Christian music for many weddings, funerals, country opry’s, festivals, memorial services, and numerous concerts for churches of all denominations. All of the members have been involved in music for decades, playing in many different bands playing all types of music.
“D’vine Testament” was formed in 2011, and since have recorded four CD’s. The members of D’Vine Testament dedicate this performance to one of their original members, David Machac, who has been medically and physically unable to perform for the past year and a half. For the past seven years, the group has doubled as “Wren’s and Friends” and have been playing classic country music for fundraisers, festivals, private parties and in dancehalls.
Members of the group are Byron Wren from Smithville, Dennis Stryk, Bruce Lebeda, Mike “Bubba” Olle, David Machac, all from Schulenburg, and Joe Dybala of Fayetteville.
Mary Lou Anderle and Wayne Beseda have been part of the Music Ministry for Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Plum for several years. Both Wayne and Mary Lou love music.
Wayne learned how to play the guitar early in life and then picked it back up about 15 years ago after attending an ACTS retreat. He plays and sings with the choir at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Plum every Sunday. He has played for a few other functions throughout the years. He enjoys playing Christian, Country and Christmas music.
