Fayette County Area Go Texan is happy to announce the awarding of scholarships to 30 outgoing senior students in Fayette County for year of 2025.

This year FCAGT awarded $59,000 for academics and for the first time is awarding vocational scholarships in the amount of $11,000.

We realize that there are students who wish not to go to college but want to pursue a career in Welding, HVAC, Plumbing, or even a Beautician, therefore we have and will in the future commit to awarding more vocational scholarships.

We encourage students who are current Fayette County seniors to contact your high school counselors for the opportunity to see if you qualify. Applications should be available beginning Dec. 1.

In addition, we want to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their continued support of our fundraising events and encourage you to save the date for the Shrimpboil on Jan. 31, 2026 and our Steak Dinner which is the 4th Saturday in September.
