Fayette County 4-H Members Compete at District Spring Spectacular

Fayette County 4-H members participated in the District 11 4-H Spring Spectacular Contest on April 16 and 17 in Victoria. Events included Public Speaking, Educational Presentations, Quiz Bowl, Duds to Dazzle, Fashion Show, Share-the-Fun, Fashion Storyboard, and Consumer Decision Making.

In the Fashion Storyboard Junior Contest, Kaylee Hoffmann was 2nd place in the wearable category.

Reagan Moreau competed in the Intermediate Public Speaking contest and was awarded 1st place. Crockett Guenther competed in the Junior Public Speaking Contest and was awarded 1st place.

Several 4-Hers competed in the Educational Presentations contest. In the Senior Open Family and Consumer Sciences category, Mackenzie Poncik was 2nd and will advance to the Texas 4-H Round Up in June. Alivia Eindorf was 3rd in the Senior Horse category and will advance to the Texas 4-H Roundup in June.

Madeline Willrich and Elena Supak placed 1st in the Intermediate Health and Wellness Category.

In the Junior Open Ag Category, Kandon Kaspar and Roan Willrich placed 2nd.

The Consumer Decision Making Junior Team placed 1st overall. Team members consisted of Kandon Kaspar, Sawyer Mau, and Roan Willrich. Individually, Kandon was 3rd, Roan was 6th, and Sawyer was 7th.

The Consumer Decision Making Intermediate Team placed 1st overall. Team members consisted of Harper Mau, Logan Poncik, Elena Supak, and Madeline Willrich. Individually, Logan was 3rd, Harper was 6th, and Elena Supak was 10th.

The Consumer Decision Making Senior Team placed 3rd overall and will advance to the Texas 4-H Round up in June. Team members consisted of Karson Corn, Cooper Mau, and Mackenize Poncik. Individually, Mackenzie was 8th and Karson was 9th.

Abigail Eindorf competed in the Senior Share-the Fun Musical/Instrumental Category.
