Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek reports that the Fayette County Undercover Narcotics Unit received information about a burglary of an unoccupied building that was being planned in the La Grange area. On the evening of Monday, March 8 the narcotics unit conducted a surveillance operation on the building and with the assistance of Deputy Michalec apprehended the suspects attempting to leave the building with stolen property.
Arrested were Wesley Tucker, 36, and Chance Denton, 24, both of Smithville. The subjects were transported to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center for the offense of Burglary of a Building.
