DWI Arrest Made in LG
La Grange Police arrested a man for driving while intoxicated Saturday night, Sept. 25.
La Grange Police said they were notified after the driver struck a parked vehicle. The crash happened in the 900 block of Horton Street around 10:15 p.m.
According to a report from Police Chief David Gilbreath, 41-year-old James Simp son was driving a 2017 Ford Edge north on Horton when he “clipped” the front end of a 2010 Mercedes. Gilbreath said the Mercedes was legally parked on the side of the road.
La Grange officers responded and administered a standardize field sobriety test. Gilbreath said the driver failed the test and was arrested for DWI.
