Drug Dealing Arrest Made at Cottonwood Inn in La Grange

Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek reports that on Jan. 5, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Undercover Narcotics Unit received an anonymous tip about narcotics activity at the Cottonwood Inn Motel in La Grange. An investigation was conducted and the information was validated.

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Undercover Narcotics Unit obtained and executed a search warrant on the suspected room at the Cottonwood Inn. During the search, Investigators located cocaine, crack cocaine, methamphetamine, ecstasy, and US currency.

Arrested and charged with Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance as well as one count of Tampering With or Fabricating Physical Evidence, was 45-year-old Shaneeka Broussard of La Grange.
