Drug Arrest Made On I-10 in Flatonia

On Monday night, Dec. 13, Fayette County Deputy Austin Moore conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Interstate 10 near Flatonia. After further investigation the driver was found to be in possession of marijuana and powder cocaine. Deputy Moore located additional marijuana and numerous pieces of drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle along with items used for the falsification of drug tests.

Arrested and booked into the Dan R. Beck Justice Center was James Steward, age 57, of Bay Minette, Alabama, for the offenses of Possession of Controlled substance, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphenalia and Drug Test Falsification Device.
