Driver Arrested for Going Around Barricades, Wrecking on CC Drive

Tuesday Fayette County Sgt. Charles Jobb was dispatched to an 18 wheeler that decided to disregard the traffic control devices showing that Country Club Drive was closed. He went through the barricades and ended up jackknifing.

This ultimately lead to the driver being arrested.

“Please, we ask that you heed our warnings to not go though barricades and to stay home unless you absolutely have to,” the Sheriff’s Department stated. “We would also like to give a shout out to unsung heroes during times like these, to all of our local towing companies. They have been out in this weather with us throughout it all.”
