Disturbance Call on Hwy. 77 Leads to Drug Arrest Near Rabbs Prairie Road

Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek reports on Tuesday, Nov. 18, around 11:25 a.m. Deputies responded to a disturbance on U.S. Hwy. 77 near Rabbs Prarie Rd.

Upon arrival Deputies met with an Individual identified as Christopher Hood, who appeared highly agitated and talking about the welfare of a woman in a nearby residence.

Deputies Ty Roggenkamp, and James Ulbig, were assisted by the CIT Investigator Jeremy Castleberry, Sgt. Angela Lala and Fayette County Narcotics Unit. Deputies frisked Christopher Hood prior to going to the female’s residence he was concerned about and located a meth pipe and a clear baggie of a crystal like substance in his pocket.

Christopher Alijah Hood, 30-years-old of La Grange, and was transported to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. Other units checked on the female who was found to be okay and needed no assistance.
