Deputies Apprehend Suspect After Pursuit

Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek reports that on Monday, June 14 a pursuit from Gonzales County continued into Fayette County with numerous marked patrol units assisting in the pursuit.

After a lengthy pursuit the suspect vehicle came to rest at 722 West Parker Road outside of Flatonia. Deputy Salazar, Deputy Shaw, and K9 Deputy Rupert with the Gonzales County Sheriff’s Office apprehended the suspect. The deputies were assisted by Fayette County Deputies, Texas DPS Troopers, and Fayette County Medic 3.

The suspect, Dakota Mills, was arrested on active warrants out of two separate counties along with other charges pending from Gonzales County.
