17th Annual Relay for Life Held in La Grange

The Relay for Life, held last Saturday at Leopard Stadium, helps raise awareness and money for cancer research. Some 75 local participants helped raise over $30,000 this year. -
Luminarias (candles glowing inside paper bags) lined the track at the stadium, symbolizing those fighting cancer and those who have died from cancer.
The 17th Annual Relay For Life La Grange was held on Saturday, Sept. 25 at Leopard Stadium. Campsites were decorated with this year’s theme “Game On Cancer - The Cure Starts Here.” Eight teams with 75 participants walked laps throughout the event, raising money for a cure.
