93 Fatalities Here, 14 Active Cases

According to the Texas Department of State Health Services, 93 people in Fayette County have died from COVID-19.

Active cases, however, are at their lowest level in a long time.

As of Wednesday, there were 14 active cases.

The number of people in Fayette County who had caught COVID and recovered since the pandemic stands at 3,488 according to the state.

There was not a single case of COVID confirmed at LGISD schools all of last week.

As far as the COVID vaccine, 62.75-percent of those in Fayette County has received at least one dose and 84.68-percent of those here 65 and older had gotten at least one dose.
