COVID Numbers Trending Downward Here

COVID numbers, at least in terms of active cases, are looking better locally. The Texas Department of State Health Services reports an estimated 102 active cases in Fayette County as of Sunday. That’s down from 233 active cases three weeks ago. The number of positives cases in school is trending better too. La Grange ISD reported five student positives and one staff case last week. Three weeks ago, LGISD had 28 active cases in a single week.
