Fayette County’s blue trash bags went up in price from $2 to $3 last week. Fayette County Recycling Center Manager Paul Zapalac said the increase was due to rising disposal fees for solid waste.
“It’s actually the first time we’ve gone up in price in 13 years,” Zapalac said.
