Correction

In the listings of positions up for election on the La Grange City Council in Friday’s paper we listed only four of the spots. There are five up for re-election. The offices up for election are as follows (the current officeholders are in parentheses):

• Councilmember, Ward 1 (Kathy Weishuhn)

• Councilmember, Ward 2 (Violet Zbranek)

• Councilmember, Ward 3 (Dustin Littrell)

• Councilmember, Ward 4 (Quenten Gonzalez)

• Councilmember, Ward 4* (Chris Jernigan)

* The Ward 4 election is for a special one-year term. Jernigan was appointed in 2021 to fill a vacant seat.
