Concert Saturday at Festival Hill
On Saturday, Jan. 30, Thomas Burritt will perform works for solo marimba at Festival Hill. The program will begin at 3 p.m. and end at 4:30 p.m. with no intermission. Adult tickets are $25; student tickets are $10. All tickets must be purchased in advance online. Due to COVIDrelated restrictions, a limited number of tickets is available. The 2021 Bybee Library Fundraiser is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 13 but things will be a little different this year. A virtual Valentine concert will be performed by Will and arden Lynde featuring songs of the heart. An online Adopt-A-Book program, as well as a 72-hour online Library Giving Campaign will take place. Small School, Big Hearts
Round Top-Carmine ISD’s annual “Small School, Big Hearts” fundraiser is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 6 at the Round Top Rifle Hall. This event funds arts enrichment, technology and innovative teacher grants. A drive-thru will be held from 5-7 p.m. with sausage and chicken plates for $12. Buy tickets in advance online on the “Event Tickets” page or purchase them in person at Round Top State Bank, Carmine State Bank, or the school offices in Round Top or Carmine. Historical Society
The Round Top Area Historical Society is now collecting donations for their annual garage sale on Feb. 13-14 and Feb. 20-21. Contact Rose Diers at (713) 376-9594 to contribute your donations for this event. Sorry, clothes or obsolete electronics are not accepted. Covid precautions will be taken to ensure that everyone has a safe experience. Furniture, household items, etc. will be for sale. The sale will take place at 399 E. Mill Street behind the Round Top Post Office.
Council Meetings

Monday Night Social
Round Top Rifle Association’s Monday Night Social takes place on the first through fourth Mondays of the month from 5:30 - 8 p.m. at the Round Top Rifle Hall.
