Cason Brown Earns National Academic Honors at ASU

Sixteen members of the Angelo State University track and field teams, including James (Cason) Brown of Schulenburg, have been named 2021 All-Academic Athletes by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (UST-FCCCA).

Seven Rams and nine Rambelles earned the All-Academic Athlete designation. To be eligible, a student-athlete must hold at least a 3.25 grade point average (GPA) and achieve a provisional or automatic national qualifying mark during either the indoor or outdoor season. Brown is majoring in Kinesiology at ASU.
