Carmine Vehicle Burglars Arrested

Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek reports that on the morning of August 17, Fayette County Sgt. Charles Jobb responded to a residential address off of US Hwy. 290 in the Carmine area for a burglary of a motor vehicle call.

Jobb made the location and processed the scene which consisted of two vehicles being burglarized. Taken from the vehicles were tools, firearms, knives, and a computer.

Two male suspects were located in Giddings and taken into custody on a separate burglary of vehicle charges and they were found to be in possession of the stolen property from the Fayette County and Lee County burglaries.

Currently the suspects’ names have not been released and, the investigation continues.
