Lane’s Uncle Chance Brunner and cousin Landon Hayes served as groomsmen. Lane’s brother, Wyatt was to also have been groomsman, but was unable to attend due to illness. Other family members from Texas that attended were grandparents Sheila and Allan Brunner; and Aunt Angie and Uncle Duke Fairchild.

Lane is an Army Specialist stationed at Fort Lewis McCord in Tacoma, Washington. The couple met in Walmart, when Lane assisted Madison to get something out of her reach off a shelf. He had spotted her jumping trying to reach the item and offered to assist her by getting the item for her. It was all history from that point on.

Out And About

Ron and Pam Knotts had a visit last week from one of Ron’s college roommates, Fred Wettling who recently moved from Tennessee to Austin. Ron enjoyed showing Fred the property and introducing him to the cows. The day also involved a road trip to Katy to visit Don Foster, another college friend who is in poor health. Ron and Fred picked up some barbecue to feed Don’s gang and had a great visit telling old stories. Even after fifty years they remain great friends and they are already planning the next visit.

Dana Kulak traveled on Sunday to attend her niece Jenny Zuhn’s baby shower in Hungerford. It was a beautiful shower done in a honey bee theme with jars of honey and honeycombs everywhere. Jenny and her husband Aaron are expecting their first child this fall.

Jennifer and Clay Rightmer joined their kids Lane and Reed Rightmer in Telluride, Colorado for a family vacation. They had a blast together riding bikes, hiking and just relaxing in a much cooler area of the country.
