Brossman Running for Pct. 4 Commissioner

Brossman Running for Pct. 4 Commissioner

I’m Drew Brossmann, Fayette County Precinct 4 Commissioner. It has been a privilege representing you this past year; I hope with your vote I can continue to serve you.

I have lived in Fayette County all my life. My wife Carrie and I, along with our sons Bo and Brody are proud to call this home. I attended St. Rose and Schulenburg schools.

I worked for the City of Schulenburg for 11 ½ years in the sewer, street, and water department, obtaining numerous different licenses. I was hired on at the Fayette County Precinct 4 Road and Bridge department in July 2012.

Commissioner Tom Muras appointed me to the superintendent position in 2015. I served in that role until Tom announced his retirement at the end of 2020. Judge Joe Weber then appointed me to fill the term.

Mother Nature put us to the test for 2021 with several weather events. My crew and I handled these effectively so that our citizens’ daily lives were not disturbed. I made sure that I put citizens’ first by using tax dollars wisely, tending to their concerns, and giving Precinct 4 the road and bridges they deserve.

Using my experience as superintendent and now commissioner, I will work to keep your taxes low without cutting your services. My team and I accomplished several of our goals this past year despite the weather and pandemic, but we have much more to do.

I am proud to be the assistant chief of Schulenburg Volunteer Fire Department with whom I’ve served for 19 years. I am a member of the Friends of the NRA Committee, helping raise over $100,000 for the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department. I serve on the Advisory Council for St. Rose School and am a member of the Fayette County Commercial Heifer Show Committee. I am the co-organizer for Shattered Dreams, a program designed to teach our young people the dangers of drinking and driving.

I believe my team and I can accomplish much more in 2022. I am asking for your vote in the Republican primary on March 1, 2022.
