Blood Drive Aug. 22 In Carmine
Mark your calendars for Aug. 22 when the Blood Drive will be held at Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Carmine from 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. It is sponsored in conjunction with Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Round Top.
Appointments are required with the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center. Go to khardin@ giveblood.org to schedule an appointment. There is an exceptional need for both whole blood and plasma. Please consider giving the gift of life.
Prost Casino Night
Carmine Chamber of Commerce will sponsor their Prost Casino Night with a German theme on Saturday, Aug. 14 beginning at 6 p.m. at the Carmine Hall. Enjoy a joyful German atmosphere and entertainment along with beer and wine.
Reserved tables for 8 are available. Individual tickets are $30. Enjoy Gary’s famous chicken fried steak meal, a rifle drawing, and games. Tickets are available in advance at Carmine State Bank or by calling (979) 451-1507. Proceeds support the Carmine Chamber.
