Blinn College Offering Czech Language Courses In Schulenburg

The Blinn College-Schulenburg Campus is offering credit and non-credit Czech language courses for students interested in learning about the language and culture.

CZEC 1471: Beginning Czech I is available as a credit and non-credit course. Classes run from 7:45 – 8:50 a.m. Mondays through Thursdays, Aug. 30 through Dec. 16.

Students who choose to take the course for credit must apply for admission and scholarship funding is available. Credit students are required to attend class and must fulfill the testing and evaluation guidelines outlined in the course syllabus to earn credit for the course.

Non-credit students are not required to apply for admission prior to registration and may choose to attend the live class if their schedule allows or view recordings of the live class. The non-credit course is $249.

Conversational Czech Intermediate I builds upon the skills learned in the beginning course. This non-credit course runs Sept. 16 through Nov. 11 and meets from 7:00-8:45 p.m. on Thursdays. The $79 class is available via a live online video conference and a textbook is required.

Conversational Czech Advanced is a non-credit course that runs Sept. 14 through Nov. 9 and meets from 7 to 8:45 p.m. on Tuesdays. The $79 class is available via a live online video conference.
