Big Land Tracts Grabbed Quickly in Plum Area

Four adjacent tracts of land in Plum along Egypt Road totaling 280 acres recently came up for sale, but were all snatched up quickly.

Their combined list price was more than $2 million dollars.

Listings from Lindemann Real Estate show sales pending on all four tracts, which are located near the Colorado River.

No word yet on what might become of the land. Pct. 1 Com missioner Jason McBroom said the area is relatively low-lying, which might hamper residential development. Some large tracks in the Plum area that sold in recent years have gone into gravel production. – Andy Behlen
