Bethlehem Lutheran Church Congregational Meeting this Sunday

The annual Bethlehem Lutheran Church Congregational meeting is Jan. 11. Several serious matters will be discussed, including the election of three Council members, and the adoption of the 2026 budget. All members are encouraged to attend.

Following the meeting will be a pot luck lunch. Congregation members are asked to bring a salad, side dish, or dessert. The ladies of the WELCAwill provide sausage.

A donation drive has been organized to collect hand sanitizer, tissues, disinfecting wipes, dry erase markers, eraser caps, and pencils for teachers. Bethlehem Lutheran Church meets for worship Sundays at 9:30 a.m.

Round Top-Carmine ISD Students had their first week back in class this week…but not to worry - another holiday is coming up in a few weeks on Monday, Jan. 19 for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Saturday, Feb. 7, is the annual “Small School, Big Hearts” dinner, auction, and family dance party at the Round Top Rifle Hall. Tickets are $20. Round Top Rifle Hall 

The first annual fundraising gala will be held Saturday, Feb. 28. Guests will enjoy a steak dinner, live auction, and dance. Both tables and single tickets are available. Visit rtsvp.org to reserve your table or ticket.

Round Top Family Library The 2026 Chili Cook-Off is in just a few weeks on Saturday, Jan. 17 at the Round Top Rifle Hall. Come out for a day full of delicious chili and lots of fun. For more information, or to register a team, visit ilovetoread.org.

Festival Hill 

The Paul English Jazz Quartet is at the Festival Concert Hall Saturday, Jan. 17 beginning at 3 p.m. Lunch is available with reservations. Visit festivalhill.org to purchase your tickets or to learn more.

Antiques & Design Show The annual winter show will be Thursday, Jan. 22 through Sunday, Jan. 25. Several seasonal venues will be open for the long weekend in addition to year-round shops, restaurants and bars.

St. Paul Lutheran Church St. Paul Lutheran Church in Shelby services are at 8 a.m. Fellowship, coffee, and Sunday School follow at 9:30 a.m. Game Day is held the first Wednesday at 2 p.m. Quilting is held the third Wednesday at 8:30 a.m.

St. Martin’s Catholic Church St. Martin holds monthly Mass the first Tuesday of each month at 8 a.m. for the intentions left on the altar.

St. John’s Lutheran Church St. John’s is part of the Shared Lutheran Ministry of Fayette County. They meet for Sunday Worship at 8:30 a.m.

RT Christian Fellowship Round Top Church meets at 8:45 a.m. for Bible Study, followed by a 10 a.m. service.

St. Cecilia’s Episcopal Church Saint Cecilia’s meets Sundays at 8:45 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. at the Haw Creek Chapel in Henkel Square.
