La Grange Main Street announced the winners of the this year’s wassail contest from the La Grange Scmeckenfest Celebration on the Square, which took place last Thursday, Dec. 4.
Blissful Folly Farms were named Schmeckenmeisters of the “leaded” wassail division. National Bank and Trust were named Schmeckenmeisters of the “unleaded” division.
“Despite some tough competition, they both managed to rise above the rest of the field of 27 other participants to be chosen as this year’s champions,” said Main Street Manager Caleb Parks.
“We also thank our 15 food booths, 13 activity booths, 14 parade floats, and approximately 2,000 guests who all came together to make this another unforgettable year,” he added.
