Bastrop/Fayette Co. Fall Ag. Conference Scheduled Nov. 17

The Bastrop/Fayette County Ag Conference will be held Wednesday, Nov. 17 at the Fayette County Fairgrounds located at 400 W. Fairgrounds Rd in La Grange. A pre-registration fee of $40 must be received at the Extension office in Fayette County at 255 Svoboda Lane, Room 134 in La Grange or Bastrop County at 901 Pecan Street, Bastrop by Nov. 12. Late registration at the door will be $50 per person. Checks should be made payable to the Fayette Beef Committee.

The conference begins with registration from 7:45 a.m. until 8:15 a.m.

Topics of discussion will include Sprayer Calibration & Tank Mixing, Corrie Bowen Texas A&M AgriLife, Trouble Shooting Equipment, Industry Representative Wylie Sprayers, Equipment for IPT, Dr. Megan Clayton Texas A&M AgriLife, Equipment for Broadcast, Dr. Josh McGinty Texas A&M AgriLife, and Understanding Labels, Greg Baker Texas A&M AgriLife.

A total of five pesticide applicator CEU credits have been approved from the Texas Department of Agriculture for this program (2 General, 1 Laws & Regulations, and 2 Drift Minimization). Please call the Fayette County Extension Office at (979) 968-5831 if you have questions.
