Aug. 13 Deadline for COVID Relief EBT Card Sign-up

Local parents of school children may be able to get more COVID relief funds in the form of money for food on an EBT card, but people just have until Aug. 13 to sign up if they have not done so.

School districts notified eligible families about the application in June.

EBT benefits can be used to buy food from any retailer that accepts the Lone Star Card.
