ARTS to Host Two Holiday Shows
This year Arts for Rural Texas will host two great holiday shows. One will be held at ARTS’ Ross Gallery and the second will be held at the Schulenburg ARTS Campus.
ARTS celebrates all the makers in our region. Each year, we invite everyone to bring up to two creative pieces to share and sell at the Holiday Show. This year, regional creatives may enter two pieces at each location.
All media are welcome: paintings, drawings, photography, fiber art, assemblage, mixed media, works in wood, works in clay, works in metal, sculpture, written works, film, digital art, and performance art live at the opening event.
Entry forms are available online and must be completed for entry. Printed copies are available at the ARTS offices. The ARTS Holiday Show is an open call and there is no fee to participate. All works must be ready to hang or install. Works must be for sale. ARTS will collect a 40 percent commission on all sales.
ARTS will receive works at ARTS at The Old Stanzel, located at 1201 Kessler, Schulenburg.
Works should be delivered on Tuesday or Thursday, afternoons, Nov. 16 and 18 or Nov. 23 and Nov. 25. Additionally, works for the Schulenburg show can also be delivered to ARTS at 114 N. Live Oak, Fayetteville, Monday through Saturday, Nov. 16-20, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. ARTS will transport the artwork to the Schulenburg gallery.
