American Legion Awards Scholarships

The Shelby American Legion Post 602 awarded Madelyn Karstedt (above) with a $500 scholarship for her valedictorian academic achievement and community service and Bailee Justus (below) with a $500 scholarship for her salutatorian academic achievement and her community service. Both are 2021 graduates from the Fayetteville Independent School District. The scholarship was presented by Steve Pavlicek, finance officer.
