AMEN will begin in May every Thursday from 10 a.m. till noon and will have staff on location to receive donations. Drive to the side of the building at the garage door area. There will not be any food distribution on Thursday. If possible bring your produce during this time and early Monday mornings, an ideal time is 8:30 a.m.
AMEN will be closed on Monday, May 31 for Memorial Day, however it will be open on Tuesday, June 1st for food distribution. A change will occur beginning in June, due to the pandemic no clients were allowed in the waiting room area. We will begin moving back to our original format of qualifying individuals for food based on Central Texas Food Bank guidelines. Clients will be able to continue to receive food two times a month.
The mobile pantry at Waldeck served 92 clients for a total of 156 individuals. A total of 14 volunteers distributed 16,995 pounds.
AMEN continues to thank all in the community for their assistance at the food pantry, without your support the pantry would not be able to support the needs of the community.
