AMEN Serves 157 Families During June

The AMEN Food Pantry continued to be busy in the month of June. 175 families were served for the month for a total of 453 individuals. A total of 131 volunteers for 255 hours served the pantry. A total of 3,372 pounds of food were donated.

An item that is needed is empty egg cartons. AMEN is fortunate that several producers are providing eggs, however additional cartons are needed. If possible, drop off on Monday mornings or place at the garage door on side of the building in a bag.

Donations can be dropped off on Monday mornings from 9 till noon or Thursday morning from 10 until noon. Monetary donations can be mailed to P.O. Box 571, La Grange, Texas 78945 or dropped off at the Pantry.

AMEN has staff on location to receive donations every Thursday from 10 a.m. until noon. Drive to the side of the building at the garage door area. There will not be any food distribution on Thursdays. If possible bring your produce during this time and early Monday mornings, the ideal time is 8:30 a.m.

The mobile pantry at Waldeck served 127 clients for a total of 160 individuals. A total of 22 volunteers served the pantry with 10,564 pounds of food distributed.
