Daughters of the Americas, Court Annunciation No. 1962, held their monthly meeting on Sept. 27 at 7 p.m. at the Msgr. Harry Mazurkiewcz Center.

After the opening prayer, Regent Shirley Antosh remembered past member, Angeline Winkler, who went to her eternal resting place on Sept. 19 with a special intention.

The Court welcomed guest speakers, Linda Oltmann and Mary Vasek, A.M.E.N. board members. They gave a wonderful program on the history of A.M.E.N. and how the food pantry provides assistance within our county. They are always looking for volunteers, so if you find some free time on Monday’s or Thursday’s, they could use help. Court Annunciation donated food items and gave a monetary donation to the A.M.E.N. Food Pantry after their presentation.

The minutes and treasurer’s reports were approved as presented.
