FAYETTE COUNTY ADOPTABLE

Rudy, left, is a Schipperke/Terrier mix. He is 26 pounds and walks well on a leash. We are guessing him to be around 10 years old. He is low energy and would do great with a home with a lot of attention and a fenced in yard. Call the shelter to make an appointment to meet him.

Bella, right, is a sweet Heeler mix. She does well with other dogs. She is young and came to us as a stray. She has jumped a fence while here, but once we put a friend in the yard with her, she stopped. She’d love a family with another dog.

• Visit the shelter at 240 Svoboda Lane and adopt animals on Tuesday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The shelter is closed on Monday. The animal shelter will not accept surrendered animals on Saturdays.

The animal shelter is in need of puppy chow, kitten chow, dog and cat food, paper towels, candles, Pine Sol, and Lysol.
