Adamcik Earns National Award

La Grange High School senior Grant Adamcik was notified last week that he has been named a Commended Student in the 2022 National Merit Scholarship Program.

The award was based on his PSAT score.

Adamcik is the son of Kyle and Tenille Adamcik and said he plans to attend either Rice University or The University of Texas and plans to major in Pre-Med.

“Those being named Commended Students have demonstrated outstanding potential for academic success” the National Merit Scholarship organization stated in a press release about Adamcik’s award. “These students represent a valuable national resource; recognizing their accomplishments, as well as the key role their schools play in their academic development. Is vital to the advancement of educational excellence in our nation. We hope that this recognition will help broaden their educational opportunities and encourage them as they continue their pursuit of academic success.”
