    Accidents, Disturbances Keep La Grange Police Busy

La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department resonded to during the week of Nov. 9-16.

Accident

On Nov. 14, Sgt. Mitchell Maxwell was dispatched to the 1500 block of N. Von Minden for an accident.

On Nov. 15, Officer Brett Meinardus worked a hit and run accident in the parking lot in the 1900 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business.

On Nov. 15, Meinardus took a report from a caller advising of vehicle damage caused by construction crew throwing pieces of metal from roof.

On Nov. 16, Officer Jose Garza was dispatched to the 400 block of E. Travis for a minor accident.

Citizen Assist

On Nov. 11, Meinardus responded to the 400 block of W. Colorado for noise from neighbor’s house.

On Nov. 13,Armstead was dispatched to the 300 block of N. Horton for a citizen assist.

Disturbance

On Nov. 10, Garza was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Washington for a verbal disturbance.

On Nov. 10, Meinardus was dispatched to the 500 block of E. Guadalupe for a disturbance.

On Nov. 12, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Washington regarding a disturbance.

On Nov. 14, Meinardus was dispatched to the 500 block of E. Guadalupe for a disturbance.

On Nov. 14, Meinardus responded to the 1400 Block of W. Hwy. 71 Business for a disturbance involving a subject that reported a gun pulled on him. After reviewing surveillance video no gun was presented. It was a verbal altercation.

Fraud

On Nov. 10, Meinardus took a fraud report in the 1700 Block of N. Jefferson from a credit union account.

Harassment

On Nov. 14, Garza was dispatched to the 1900 block of W State Hwy. 71 Business in reference to harassment.

Reckless Driving

On Nov. 11, Meinardus responded to the 800 block of S. Vail where a caller reported a black Dodge jumped the curb. Officer was not able to locate the vehicle.

Scam Call

On Nov. 14, Meinardus took a report from caller in the 700 block of N. Sarah Jo advising of a call from an individual impersonating a Fayette County Deputy.
