9th Annual OktoBierFest This Weekend in Round Top
The Ninth Annual Okto-BierFest is set for this weekend. Hosted by the Round Top Schützen Verein at the historic Round Top Rifle Hall, this is an all-day event from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. with official Keg Tapping taking place at noon.
Enjoy quality German biers, delicious Kassler, Wurst & Kraut, all while listening to a free concert under the outdoor pavilion. “Masskrugstemmen” – the stein holding contest, is always a fan favorite. This activity pits the men against the women to see who can hold their beerfilled stein straight out in front of them the longest. Last year, the women “outheld” the men. Come see who will take the prize this year.
