Schulenburg Police Officer Hailee Vincent assisted federal agents in a money laundering case on Saturday, Feb. 6. Vincent stopped a vehicle on Interstate 10 that was transporting $60,000 in suspected proceeds from illegal narcotics sales and human trafficking.
Schulenburg Police assisted federal agents with a money laundering arrest on Saturday, Feb. 6.
Schulenburg Police Chief Troy Brenek reported that federal law enforcement officials informed his department about a vehicle possibly transporting a load of laundered money through Schulenburg. Brenek said the money was suspected to be illegal proceeds from drug sales and human trafficking.
