50th Anniversary Celebrated in Muldoon
Richard and Connie Sellers of Flatonia celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 4 at the Muldoon Mercantile aka the Stone Store. There were about 45 guests in attendance to celebrate the big day and witness the exchange of new wedding vows.
The event was catered by Hank’s Express. The guests were served a meal of chicken spaghetti, salad and garlic bread with scrumptious cupcakes of various flavors. The cupcakes were made by Sweet Creations. Beiya & Aiyal Sellers, of Deer Park, carried the special towels for the handwashing ceremony. All of their immediate family participated in the ceremony.
The music was great oldies music and played by Quenten Gonzalez of La Grange. Pastor Kolbe Hill officiated the ceremony for the happy couple. Overall it was a very special day for this family.
Celebrates Birthday
Kathy and Frank Chlumsky’s grandson, Marcus Williams, celebrated his first birthday recently over the weekend. Kathy and Frank were very happy they were able to attend the party in Austin. Marcus had lots of family and friends that also attended. Marcus is the son of Summer Smith and Benjamin Williams and is the younger brother of Olivia.
Anniversary Trip
James and I finally got to celebrate our wedding anniversary with a trip to the Historic Fort Worth Stockyards recently. Our trip had to be postponed when I sustained a broken big toe after kicking one of my cows. It was a great trip and got to learn a ton of history of the stockyard and enjoyed lots of great food.
