4-H, FFA Members Deadline to Purchase Tags is April 12
Major Show Steer Tags
Any 4-H or FFA member in Fayette County who plan on showing steers at the 2021-2022 major shows must place an order for the number of tags they wish to purchase. The costs of these tags are $22.00 each and must be ordered through the Fayette County Extension office no later than Monday, April 12 by 5 p.m. Call the Fayette Co. Extension Office at (979) 968-5831 or email kmkaspar@ag.tamu.edu to place your tag order. An official validation and tagging will occur on June 28.
Major Show Heifer Tags
Any 4-H or FFA member in Fayette County who plan on showing heifers at the 2021-2022 major shows and have not validated them, change of ownership or change of breed, must place an order for the number of heifers they wish to validate. The costs of the validation materials is TBD and must be ordered through the Fayette County Extension office no later than Monday, April 12 by 5 p.m. Please call the Fayette Co. Extension Office at (979) 968-5831 or email kmkaspar@ag.tamu.edu to place your tag order. An official validation and tagging will occur on June 28.
State Fair Lamb and Goat Tag Order Deadline
Any 4-H or FFA member in Fayette County who plan on showing lambs and/or goats at the 2021 State Fair of Texas must place an order for the number of tags they wish to purchase. The costs of these tags are $17 each and must be ordered through the Fayette County Extension office no later than Monday, April 12 by 5 p.m. Call the Fayette Co. Extension Office at (979) 968-5831 or email kmkaspar@ag.tamu.edu to place your tag order. An official validation and tagging will occur at a later date.
State Fair/Heart of Texas Swine Tag Order Deadline
Any 4-H or FFA member in Fayette County who plan on showing swine at the 2021 State Fair of Texas and/or Heart of Texas must place an order for the number of tags they wish to purchase. Please note the addition of validating breeding gilts for the 2021 State Fair Youth Purebred Gilt Show. The costs of these tags are $17 each and must be ordered through the Fayette County Extension office no later than Monday, April 12 by 5 p.m. Call the Fayette Co. Extension Office at (979) 968-5831 or email kmkaspar@ag.tamu.edu to place your tag order. An official validation and tagging will occur at a later date.
