Schools to Continue Requiring Masks

Last week the Texas Governor lifted the mask mandate effective this Wednesday, but Thursday La Grange Superintendent William Wagner sent this message to parents:

“The Texas Education Agency has issued new guidance in response to Governor Abbott’s Executive Order GA-34. TEA has recommended that schools continue to require masks for anyone over the age of 10. Therefore, La Grange ISD will continue the District’s COVID-19 protocols that are currently in place to provide a safe learning environment for our community. Thank you for your continued support of our schools as we move into the final months of this school year.”
