Good for the Soul

All of us are being formed in one way or another. We are shaped by the people we associate with, the shows we watch, the podcasts we listen to, and the culture itself. Being a Christian is recognizing formation is happening and choosing to be formed according to the ways of Christ. In other words, being a Christian is being like Christ.

Latest STAAR Results Mixed

Third through eighth graders taking the state’s assessment exams showed mixed results, according to results from the Texas Education Agency. The Tribune reported the elementary students taking the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness exam made the biggest gains in reading, especially among third graders.

The Thing About Democrats

To the Editor: There’s been a lot of buzz about weak, woke, and corrupt Democrats; a fair portion amongst themselves. I do not believe weak is appropriate, and I actually disagree they are weak, nor is woke a bad thing as implied.
