Down the Rabbit Hole
To the Editor:
Published in 1865, Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland “is a satirical commentary on Victorian life. Alice follows a white rabbit down a rabbit hole and enters a dreamlike world encountering bizarre characters and events. As I see our administration led by the President, I feel like Alice “down the rabbit hole.”
I am shocked and saddened that our Democracy and free speech are threatened.
The anthropomorphic (ascribing human form to a non human) creatures resemble Trump’s minions.
