Something To Be Thankful For

To the Editor: It was the day after Thanksgiving, and as we sat bundled up in our blankets around the warm fire outside, my mother asked us (besides Jesus, family, and friends) what we were thankful for. My family said they were thankful for many things such as God’s creation, homeschool, where we live, food, dance, music, etc.

Today we live in a different world. December 25 is referred to as the Holiday Season, Yuletide, X-mas, and other politically correct names. But, in my house, it is CHRISTMAS, the birth of Christ, and I celebrate it as such. In this eventful year of 2020, I think of Christmases past and how it always brought a magical glow to our lives.
