It’s now a dozen wins in a row for the surging La Grange boys basketball team. The Leps welcomed Taylor to La Grange Tuesday by bashing the Ducks 64-46.

The Taylor girls came to La Grange and all but mathematically clinched the district basketball title Tuesday with a 52-38 win over the second place Lady Leps. The victory vaults the Lady Ducks to 9-0 in district while La Grange fell to 6-2 in district and 16-10 overall.

The La Grange varsity basketball teams went to Smithville Friday and swept the Tigers in the girls and boys games. The Lady Leps got a pair of late free-throws from senior Tori Harold to finish off a 56-52 victory over the Lady Tigers.
