Ellinger Chamber Hosting Bingo Feb. 11

The Ellinger Chamber of Commerce (104 W. Colorado Sky in Ellinger) will host Bingo on Feb. 11. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. and games start at 6 pm. Hamburger, hotdogs, nachos, desserts and refreshments will be for sale. Two jackpots of $500 are guaranteed and 15 regular games.

ARTS Celebrates Its 20th Year of Service with the ‘We Are ARTS’ Teachers and Staff Showcase

Arts for Rural Texas will host a reception celebrating the creative voices of their talented teachers and staff from the past twenty years at a reception on February 4 from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. at the ARTS Gorman Gallery in Schulenburg, Texas. As ARTS rolls into its 20th year of service, 2023 will be filled with multiple celebrations with the theme of “We Are Arts!” This opening event presents artwork by the teachers and staff who work so closely with the youth in the regional communities.

On Saturday, February 25, Arts for Rural Texas and its Ross Gallery will be amidst a Blaze of Glory – a thrilling one-woman show about courage and tenacity of Texas’ first women heroes. In this vibrant performance, professional actress Mary Margaret Mann of Houston leads her audience on a journey into the heritage of Texas.

M The renovations to the Muldoon Museum are done.All the construction has been completed and it looks really good. The siding was replaced with hardy plank and painted.The building was leveled.
